Sensory Difficulties and Food
A refresh on the sensory system and how eating, food tastes and textures impact on the individual.
Looking more closely at eating, drinking, chewing (of edible and non edible objects). How to support a child/young person with sensory processing difficulties with their eating.

Autism in Girls: Behind the Mask
Providing a brief overview of the key aspects of autsim and going into more detail as to how females may present and the diagnostic difficulties as a result (including masking). Information on how to contribute to asssessment and screening processes for diagnosis and how to support at home and in school. Finally Sarah provides some of her own personal experiences as a parent.
An Introduction to Sensory Systems & Sensory Processing Disorder
This course covers an overview of the sensory system and how this work within daily living. Then looking at the effects having a sensory processing difficulty/disorder. Looking more closely at eating, drinking, chewing (of edible and non edible objects). Also looking at personal hygiene activities such as toileting, washing, brushing teeth etc and exploring strategies to manage any difficulties
Money Matters & Personal Independance Payment
Looking at the different funding available to families of children and young people with SEND. This includes grants available from charities and trusts. PIP session covers the application form, what to expect through the assessment process and eligibility.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Awareness Session
PBS is about understanding of challenging behaviour and aims to improve the quality of life for the person and families supporting them. The sessions provides an introduction to PBS and how it works in practice. It looks at theory behind PBS, understanding behaviour and indentifying strategies that will support people.
